I just checked my claim inquiry. It says, "Your claim has been pended. Please call a Claims Agent"

Anyone know what this means? There's currently a 3 hour hold time for NJ Unemployment

Is this a new claim? Press two for Spanish and get a shorter wait.

Any change of status?

My claim has also been pended, have you been contacted by a claims examiner?

I checked my status after I got off the phone with the claims examiner and it changed to pended from "You may have been separated for misconduct in connection with your work".

When I certified for the first time online, it said my claim has been received but is not payable at this time.

Sounds to me like your former employer has disputed your entitlement to UC. You need to find out what they said so that you can offer rebuttal. Good luck.

My claim is marked as pended after I had phone interview. Have not received any notification if my claim was denied yet. Will report back.
