Unless something major happens he said, he did not completely rule it out and will come under pressure from other countries not to veto it.

I heard on yesterdays telly news that the EU is considering Albania for membership. That's just what we need huh? A million Albanians deciding to give the UK a try. Even further cultural enrichment, and diversity.

Out. Now.

I would think Albanians are more likely to go to Germany and Austria where there are already established Albanian communities.

There are a number of ways Johnson can get around any extension, as EU law takes precendent over British Parliamentary Law and the evoking of Article 50 must take precdents over any letteR or act passed by the British Parliament. The UK Supreme Court must also recognise the precedent of EU Law over British Law in such circumstances.

Whilst John Major has already warned that the Government will seek to bypass Statute Law by passing an Order of Council to suspend the Act until after 31 October. Something which is also perfectly legal to do.

Don't fool yourself the Benn Act is not insurmountable and the Government and their legal advsors know this.

A vote of no confidence would result in Johnson arguing that he should continue for the 14 day period and it's unlikely Corbyn could win support to form a Government anyway.

Looking like the Letwin amendment might well go through, the DUP is now supporting it.

The Letwin Ammendment is nonsense, it just states that Johnson's Deal must be law before we leave.

There will be a vote on Johnson's deal next week which is now much more likely to pass, and then Government and the EU wiill work around the clock to get the deal which is already set out signed in to law by the 31st October.

Letwin wouldn't apply if the government and EU worked round the clock to get it signed off by the 31st.....

Johnson was already planning to get the deal done and dusted by the end of the month, which is why he kept stating we would leave on the 31st October and managed to negotiate a deal to put before parliament.

In terms of Corbyn, he's never wanted any deal, doesn't want a no deal and yet continues to state that his Government would get a better deal despite the EU saying there will not be any other deal and this is it, before campaigning against the better deal that Labour would supposedly get and then having second referendum. However this all depends on an election which Corbyn refuises to let talke place because he's in a very poor polling situation.

Is Corbyn really that stupid or does he think the electorate are that stupid.

As for Letwin, he's out of Parliament at the next election and is just trying to make a name for himself, although I really doubt anyone will miss Oliver Letwin.
