The people have voted Tory because they want to leave the EU. Time to accept it.
If the exit polls are correct it's more likely people just couldn't bring themselves to vote for Corbyn rather than wanting to leave the EU..

At least you'll be happy Dave.

Last time I checked the numbers even the current Tory landslide in terms of seats still left a majority of the population voting for remain or 2nd referendum parties.

Anyhow will be interesting to see how Johnson handles the extension of the withdrawal agreement in the summer.

My tv is set for BBC World in a few minutes--will be fun to hear the good news. whew! This is such a relief, sorry so much time was wasted getting what the people voted for in the first place. But at least now you can get started. CONGRATULATIONS and good job getting all those smart people out to vote for what they wanted all along.

I'm just searching for my old LP of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'.......... may be a bit loud for the neighbours this time of night.......

Boris Johnson.......... Superstar..........da da da di di di..........

Sorry britinspain, this was the nearest you were going to get to a second referendum, and the people voted for the party who want to take us out of the EU. Simple as that.

The good thing is Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott, and all the rest are finished, and we're just waiting for the bin lid of history to be opened, to throw them into.

Time to get on with things now Boris. Time to get on the long hard road, of not just leaving the EU, but trying to get a trade deal with them. It could still all end with WTO terms.

But, the EU know now, they are dealing with a PM who has slaughtered the opposition, who wanted to remain in the EU.

I think in passing the troubadour you a little naive regarding Labour and if the polls work out right it will be Labour's worst result since before WW2? Elsewhere mention oby English Dve commenting on the years of austerity by the Conservatives is basically correct. However at the same time they did make improvements in taxa levels for the less well off and also had to make up for the years of Labour's far from great period in power. Corbyn and that Momentum lot were a proving disaster for the Labour corner> Corbyn trying to bring back stuff from the 1970's as his bandwagon was disaster and that Marxist O'Donnell with him have emphasised all that stuff they came out with was a nonsense and a danger to this country and it's future.

Hopefully Labour will become a more cenerrist party going forward to be a proper opposition option in the future.

Brexit still isn't done though and won't be for a very long time.

Boris's lies will come back and haunt him for sure.
