Everyone votes first and then they take your money. That’s what makes it redistribution. If you didn’t have a vote it would be theft.

I am still waiting for Diane Abbott to show her face in this General Election campaign. Where is the dear girl? I believe her son has been arrested for allegedly spitting in the face, and punching a police officer. Maybe she's busy with that. Diane, as Home Secretary, would have overall responsibility for police forces all around the country. I will sleep better at night, knowing she is at the helm in charge of our police.

Same with Emily Thornberry......... no sign of her either. If Corbyn forms a government, these two will be powerful figures within it.

I know Labour see them both as vote losers, but surely, they should be wheeled out somewhere, just to wave to the Labour voting kiddies.

It's a puzzlement........

I cannot believe anyone is willing to vote for that load of unreconstructed Marxists that run the Labour party, they will take us back to the 1970s and not only that they will ruin the country, Labour never did know how to manage finance, last time they were in and the Tories took over they left a message" sorry, there is no money left, good luck".
besides all the Jews will leave the country and so will the millionaire business men.

Does any of the Corbyn haters ever have anything to say beyond economics. The 70's for many were by a large a far more pleasant time to be in than the present. It shouldn't be forgotten that it was a Labour Party that upset the unions who were in power at the time but took a left than leftist approach to matters at the time.

Does no one even those most impacted by neo liberal economic rationalism, not consider things as national well being, growing inequality, near society breakdown in the many areas of depravation, brought about by many years of austerity and declining services, while small numbers have enriched themselves very naively.

Does anyone really believe the likes of Boris and Mott and Co give a fig for the ordinary people? Hopefully the result will not be clear cut for The Tories.

The 70's were a far better time? For goodness sake are you an adult? In that period we had massive debts, taxes, mass strikes power shut down, funerals stopped, riots and the country in a shambles. For goodness sake.

Maybe neither socialism or capitalism are the answer. It is, after all, the 21st century and time for something new.

No. Communism is the mother of all failed 20th century ideas.

For goodness sake were you around. The strikes occurred as a reaction to Labour PM policy. They thought they tough it out.

That period was in late seventies, but yes there were shortages of sugar in the earlier part of the decade and there were power cuts at times. Which riots do you refer to?

But what I know is I could afford to live in most areas of London, on very average wages, being very young, lots of cheap places to eat out and entertainment venues with great music , people were not materialistic by and large and contentment was more obvious in many respects with NHS still among the best in the world, before council housing sell offs, austerity measures and Tory disdain for average people.
Not a word on the impact on well being of austerity measures, but still digging up distant past events in order to point score.
