After this blowtorch warm weather, next week looks somewhat cooler, if a bit above average. Mid to late month is trending more seasonable and a bit stormy at this point.

Fri. afternoon in Brattleboro, it was in the 70s & I wore shorts & sandals, which is not what one expects for November.
Know the seasonable cold is coming back (for the long haul) any moment now but I enjoyed the reprieve.

Based on photos I took (here in SE corner of VT) on these dates, couple stats from last year:
First visible (if only a dusting on ground for a few hours before it melted) snow was on Nov. 17.
First significant (more than an inch or two) snowfall was Nov. 26-27 storm.
Will be interesting to see how this year/season turns out

Yeah, crazy contrast when you look back at recent Novembers.

70s are done till Spring IMO. They have to be! lol

Next week pretty flat Jet (zonal) so seasonably warm but not as hot as this past week.

MAYBE snow for New England Ski Resorts end of next week? We'll see.

Speaking of Skiing... did you see the Ski Season forecasts? Maybe another big year for New England?

Number of blizzard warnings since Jan 1, 2005

1 for northern VT,4 for southern. Whoa. Didnt know there were lack of blizzard warnings up there.

10 for Northern Maine. 6 for Southern Maine.

Virginia had a couple.

8 for NYC area & southern CT. More than Michigan and Vermont.

12 for MA.

Wow at North Dakota.

Dont forget, criteria for blizzards vary for each region/state. I wonder what it is for VT.

Not the coldest airmass of season coming this weekend but with a strong NW flow it will feel cold. Saturday not a good day to rake leaves due to the wind gusts.

I'm thinking snow showers around Friday after our rainy front today.
