Worth recording this, to see what effect MGM has on overall casino revenue after it opens. If 3 small and 2 large "casinos" are averaging $21M each, then a split of $15M each for the small, and $30M each for the large can't be too wide of the mark. On that basis, given proximity to DC, Va, you would hope MGM would eventually generate revenues well north of $30M. Anyone know what the revenue prediction is?

Maryland casinos are on a record roll

Atlantic City, rocked by the 2014 closure of four casinos, is teetering on the brink of a financial crisis. Nevada casino revenue has been flat for months. But Maryland's casino market, like a progressive jackpot, just keeps growing. The five casinos combined to generate record revenues for the second straight month in May, the Lottery and Gaming Control Agency reported Monday. Combined revenues in Maryland reached $104.4 million in May. It was the sixth straight month that they increased compared to the previous year. (Balt. Sun)

Possible metro connection to VA could be

1- NH -> Eisenhower -> King street ->
2- NH- > King Street -> Eisenhower -> Huntington
3 -NH -> Huntington -> Eisenhower -> King street
4- NH -> King Street -> Crystal city -> Pentagon City

This sounds pretty cool. Definitely will get a lot of use with MGM

THat's a pretty bold statement. Hope they don't over-hype it too much. Set expectations low, then people are impressed when they actually visit. Just the name alone will draw visitors.

I agree but didn't pay that much attention since that's his style and he has been saying that since they broke ground

To me, the population doesn't suffice, and the harbor already has a small grocery store there.
