And so it begins. Once the ice is broken, the infestation of revenue generating cameras sets in like an infection. No ideology is spared, but my point still stands. Democrats have taken speed cameras to a whole new level and have dropped all pretense of "safety" and now hem and haw about the deleterious effects to the budget when cameras become less profitable. I have watched this phenomenon from the outset....whereas State/local leaders always referenced "safety" when media inquiries persisted on the amount of revenue being generated. And then, one day, right there in the Washington Post as clear as day was the word "budget" thrown into the conversation. A slip of the tongue or the truth coming out? We all know the answer.
