Carven City Weather Review and Forecast

Well, well, well. It's been an eventful week in Carven City. Two days ago, on 15th June, a massive thunderstorm outbreak culminated in the fall of more than 110mm of rain, while the storm late in the day also brought 1-2cm hailstones over some parts of the city. We also had winds reported to 70mph. What a storm it was! Fallen power lines and building damage were widely reported and 100,000 people were without power for over 24 hours.

Anyway, no you'll be glad to know that the thunderstorms are moving away since yesterday, well, at least the really BIG ones. BUT - there will still be a few thundery showers popping up in the summer monsoon airmass, so watch out during the mid-late afternoons.

SO WHAT'S NEXT?

Monday 17th June: It will be a cool night, with mercifully low humidity for the first time in a while, going down to 17°C, and the sunny, dry day will see highs of 31°C. Bit windy at times.

Tuesday 18th June: Heating up a bit more with lighter, variable winds with more southerly influence. Low of 19°C, but getting HOT again by early PM, with scattered thunder showers a risk once more.

Wednesday 19th June: Low of 20°C, and humidity increasing. High should reach around 34°C, and there will be scattered thundery showers around yet again through the afternoon as is usual for the time of year.

Thursday 20th June: Humid, low of 21°C, and mostly sunny, reaching 34°C once more. Again a change of thunder PM, but less than previous days.

Friday 21st June: Low of 21°C, more humid feeling, and a somewhat higher chance of thunderstorms PM. Highs could be 30-33°C depending on how much the showers develop in the area.

Saturday 22nd June: A humid day with lots of storms around, though we may miss the downpours. Low 22°C, high 34°C.

Sunday 23rd June: Similar again, moderate humidity and warm, with scattered thundery showers PM. Low 21°C, high 34°C.
