Not a very good photo, but you can see a small slide in the center. There's still plenty of snow in most places above about 8000'.
The highest peak is 13,776' (4199m) tall and the cloud makes it look small
Looking SW over Teton Valley, Idaho. The town is Tetonia, population 265. The tall buildings are grain silos. If you live in the US and eat potatoes or drink domestic beer, chances are good that you've enjoyed some of Tetonia's potatoes and barley.
There 'are' heat tolerate tomato seeds/plants, but unless gotten online you don't see them sold around here much.. But Even those slow down in the heat... Tomatoes don't like it hot (over 90) whereas peppers will bolt.
If you had actual flowers/blooms "growing" above 90 then that's probably what you have, unless the shade and mulch are helping. Not talking about turning Green to Red. Talking about the actual blossoms. They form but fall off and don't set the fruit.. Not talking about 2 days of 90 either. Multiple days in a row and within the weeks. Also... don't pick the peppers when they are green, let them sit on the plant and they'll turn Orange or Red or Yellow.
The fun part is when I see the garden like a jungle in July-August. LOL. I think my humidity and dewpoints are higher near it because of it.
Your tomatoes look better than mine do in August (you also keep your plants staked better). Mine are winding down by that time of the year. I see what your saying about the blooms not holding up after temperatures get too high. In July and August, the average temperature here is near 93 F.
Are you arachnophobic? I posted a much bigger one a couple weeks ago.
