No snow here still. (Less than an inch all season)

Looking towards Long Island Sound from one of the hills in South Norwalk, Connecticut. 9am. 12/31/14

I tell ya, I would be fascinated to see CTs terrain in person without any trees or structures around. That would be cool to see.

The beaches/coast just minutes from here.by car

For comparison

Fairbanks Daily News-Miner: Arctic Cam

Look at the snow cover.

Fairbanks : 27 degrees an hour before astronomical dawn.

I feel the same way with Long Island, although it's much flatter than CT, it has some decent hills here and there. I've seen the Atlantic, Great South Bay, and the Long Island Sound from the same hill on a clear day.

Temperature was -9C which felt much warmer than the -15C of last walk.

Eh, that's not fair. Everyone bar Cambium, CG and me has snow.

Anyway, here's yet another batch of pics. Frosty morning:

Still frosty at noon in the nearby big city:

I was surprised not to be met by drizzly and windy weather.

My Lemon and Key Lime leaves fell, then lemons started dropping. It's natural for this to happen although last year they didn't drop.

Ice today in Ioannina at the lakeside! Frozen trees, benches, grass because of the strong north winds yesterday!
