8th day this month(March) snow has fallen. 11 days in February. Instant sticking this morning vs the 12hrs of snow mounting to just a Trace 3/28. Lets see if the sun angle does its thing again now that's its coming up
Nice NASA WorldView image this past weekend of snow cover in CT and on eastern Long Island. I believe those brighter solid whites are frozen ponds, lakes, and streams.
Sticking to some roads now here. LOL. What a month. What a year.
2 weird things looking at this... Seeing a "clipper" coming down from Canada this time of year AND the front/freezing line/storm staying south of here.
NAM12z Tuesday 8am to Wed 2am.
Blue line = 925mb freezing line (temps at 2000 feet). Below freezing north of that.
Looks to me it's snow for CT. Better chances as sun goes down. Good timing for us to get it.
Bad timing for PA since it will be during the day. Even though might be cold enough 2000 feet and above, the surface might not. We'll see tomorrow.
