That looks nice. Last night wasn't so cool here. Tonight won't be that cool here either. I did manage to sleep just fine last night, however. And hopefully I'll have the same fortune tonight. As long as that's the case, I'm not overly unhappy.
Looks hellish to me. 25F belongs in December or January not October.
Am curious about your weather preferences. You seem to do a lot of vegetable gardening at the same time you seem to long for weather about as cold as possible. Would you like to see a temp of 25F for a low in August or July that wiped out your vegetable garden?
He's a cold weather lover that still wants a growing season. I imagine some continental subarctic climate like Fairbanks, Alaska would probably be his dream climate.
Low of 54 where? I'm only at 58 at the moment. But yes, it's getting to be pretty nice these days. Sure is comforting to see those averages drop relentlessly day by day.
Weird. I had a low of 54 F around 5 AM this morning, and I'm in south Georgia. I guess the urban heat island limited Atlanta's radiation cooling last night.

Of course it does...lol. It's quite apparent in the spring and fall when you drive south from the ATL - the leaves will show color earlier south of the city up to about 70 miles south before it matches what it is here. Same thing in the spring - the trees will be leafing out here, but will be bare 50 miles south, and you have to go 80-100 miles before it matches up again.
very diverse season-map now. orange = summer, yellow = autumn-temperatures (daily average below 10C) last 1-4 days, green = autumn (below 10C for 5 or more days), light blue = winter temperatures (daily average below 0C last 1-4 days) days and dark blue = winter (daily average of below 0C 5 days or more).
That would be unbearable. For me, it must be 65 f or lower inside. Preferably a bit lower.
Even at the height of summer? I can tolerate up to 73 at night in high summer, but in winter, I like it around 60. I didn't do too bad last night at 72 (69 at wake-up time). Would prefer 65 of course, but I'm not gonna risk blowing out the AC to achieve it.

It always fascinates me how the weather in Scandinavia suddenly switches literally overnight. It always take much longer for it to cool down here.
At the moment we're getting around 17c in the day, it'll probably not be snowy or icy here until December. It does snow in November at home though.
