Another cool link to keep.. I have it sorted by lows now. Just change the "AL" in the link to any state abbreviation you want.

"Air" = current temps

IEM :: AL_ASOS Current Conditions

Lows in the 20s in Alabama.

Low of 37 this morning. Warnings are now being blazed in my area.

From Charleston NWS:

... Freeze warning in effect from 1 am to 9 am EST
Tuesday...

* temperatures... 29 to 32 degrees with widespread frost.

* Timing... conditions favor a 4 to 7 hour freeze.

* Impacts... freezing temperatures could kill sensitive
vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be prepared to protect sensitive outdoor vegetation and cover
unprotected outdoor plumbing.

First freeze of the season coming tomorrow morning. Winds are expected to be calm, so there will probably be a thick coat of frost on the ground as well.

"Streamer" Alert. Allentown reporting Light snow. Streamer from Lake Ontario making it all the way to Philly. If you're in Philly, look around, those clouds are from Lake Ontario. Moisture drying up as it's coming into much drier air.

Feels like 30s out there with wind. Mine are gusting to 30mph! Temp 40°F. -10C at 850mb

Yes, this is "colder," but I see no true arctic air on the horizon anytime soon for the US.

Meanwhile I see the coldest station in Connecticut was 30F. The joys of coastal living, right?

Got into the teens this morning. Second lowest in the state.

Nice view of the fall snow.

The red is snow (or ice in clouds)

You can see the path the storm took. Compare with before the storm.
