Seems like not much of that cold is going to get here. Forecast high of 40°F tomorrow, 43°F Tuesday. So below average, but not that special for late November or as cold as the Midwest got. Wonder why it's losing its punch as it goes east?
Congrats on your first Sub 40° max. Feels so far for me to get that this year. My lowest Max so far is 48°

And the 850mb freezing line is not far from the coast. No moisture on the cold side of it. Seems so different to see vs last year. Like it's not strong enough to push off the coast with moisture still around. Will post the 850mb map in a bit. Cool looking.

My guess would be the Atlantic is too warm where these fronts are just getting hung up later than usual and the cold air just slows down and deteriorates before getting to us. It was supposed to be sunny today which would of allowed the cold air to filter in faster.. The damn front hasn't moved much. WTF. So yeah, nothing special for us at all!
Pretty boring for the Northeast unless you like rain and ups and downs next 10 days.
There's really no snow chances even for the hills of New England. Maybe flurries/snow showers now and then but nothing exciting.
It's either cold without moisture or warm with rain.
Only chances for snow chances coming up per GFS12z is Dec 2-4 but mostly confined to northern New England and again Dec 7th which is a Clipper transfer to coast thing. But we all seen what "chances" mean past 10 days lately. There were snow chances shown for Thanksgiving week (also a clipper transfer shown a few times) and it doesn't look like we're getting any white stuff now.
So I'll only believe things when we're inside 5 days with the pattern we have going on.
So enjoy the cold, below normal temps when they happen. It's the only winter thing we got so far.
Seasonable and Above normal days are out numbering the below normal days and should continue next 2 weeks at least.
