Summer Colors. This is my neighbors Rose of Sharon. I should use my regular camera and compare images. Just remembered the highest setting on my phone is 16mb. I had it on 6mb all other times.

For CD photos, 6 mb is more than enough unless you're cropping. The advantage of a regular camera is in other things. But, yea would be interesting to compare the two. Generally, my regular camera does much better in low light. And it has a zoom lens so I can get a distant scene without cropping.

Didn't know that was Rose of Sharon, seen that a lot.

Plus that 16mb setting on your phone would probably just add noise anyway.

While I noticed some cameras do better with lower Megapixels, it's the actually opposite with this phone I got.. The 16MP setting was much more clearer and detailed then the 6, that's why I smacked my head for not using that setting for past 6 months. lol

Agree on CD being more than enough but we use other sources to post the resized images. So you can take photos with better settings originally then just resize and post..

I took the shot with the 6MP. Ummm, Wow. I knew the other ones weren't as clear. Gees.

What sucks is the 16MP takes up so much room on the phone/card storage but I'll need to keep that setting instead of the 6 I was using.

Same photos above but side by side and larger..

Regular Camera. Nikkon Coolpix L820 No editing but Resized for CD.

Not resized. Heads up. Large.

Spoiler
