I'm not sure if Duluth is Western-Central US but they just saw 10-12 inches of snow yesterday and today. This is Duluth's largest May snow on record, but not the state record. https://www.accuweather.com/en/weath...esota/70008224
Also, University of Colorado-Boulder had their college graduation ceremonies today in the snow. That would be odd to see.
Albuquerque broke a record for coldest high, 50F (10C)....old record 55F (12C)
Snowing yesterday in New Mexico above about 9,000 ft.
Saw a cool video of Cloudcroft, NM ...snowing, looking very wintery.
Amarillo, TX....same thing, broke a record....high yesterday only 48F....normal high is 80F
Lubbock, TX ...even farther south, 33N ....high only 45F ....crazy cool for this time of year.

Tomorrow, quite cold for the Southwest. Flagstaff has a shot at snow overnight into tomorrow morning (no accumulation expected); and highs are going to be 15° to 20°F below average.
And yet another late season snow event somewhere in the U.S. 8th one this year alone. Crazy.
This is the latest inch or more of snow in Denver since 2001. Only 7th time on record since 1882 that Denver has seen an inch or more of snowfall this late in the season
