Here's Vegas OBS since May 9th. Only 3 of last 15 days was above normal.

8 days in a row below normal but look at the departures on the max temp past couple days! 22 below normal. 24 below normal. 15 below normal. Record Max temp was 107°F in 2000.

They been dropping into the 50s at night past 7 days. Normal is upper 60s. Wonder how it's been looking on the strip. Tourists wearing coats? lol

I know they completely messed up this forecast. 3 days ago they had 75 for Saturday and 80 for Sunday. It's still supposed to be 75 tomorrow and 80 on Monday. Maybe they had switched the days lol. I am in San Diego where it's kind of cool for here.

We had a dip like this (into northern Baja, Sonora and Chihuahua) during the first half of June of 2009, which came even later. During that period, we failed to hit 100° for 15 consecutive days, which was a June record, and the low temp on the 7th was just 68°F (our average low that day is 77°F)

This is exactly what you should expect as the planet warms out of control.

Coldest May since 1998 at Las Vegas, Maccaren. The Avg Temp this month is 70.5°F with 4 more days to go. That makes it Top 10 coldest Mays.

It's been 20 yrs since they had a Top 10 Cold May.
Avg temp was warming from 1950s to early 2000s, but since early 2000s the trend has been dropping and back to 1980s levels.

** More interestingly.... the Max temp has been only 93° this month, that's the 3rd coldest on record there!
