I think we're going to pay for it with a scorcher of a summer this year. 2011 looks like it's the closest analog year to this year (for this section of the country), and it went from seasonably cool (90s) to heat (110+) like the flick of a switch around June 15th, we hit 118°F on July 2nd, and had our hottest August (and month) ever, average high that August was 109°F, and the average low was 87°F. The minimum low was 81°F, and we had a high of 117°F on August 26th (our all time record high for the month of August)
You're lows are the reason. I see 5 of the last 8 days the max in Seattle has been below normal there. Were you aware of that? Nothing crazy at all but it's been below normal in the daytime.
meanwhile Vegas... Last 6 days below normal for both Max and Min and 10-15 below normal to boot! I think another week for them .
Wow! Another 9 days. I haven't checked the latest. Thanks
They just said on TV there have only been two days this month that had below average temperature.

You escaped the true effects of this dip because of the angle of it. I see all your lows this month have been above avg except for 1. Only 6 days the max below normal this month.
Been warm there overall. May 6-11 was well above so that locked in the month.
