Look, we're clearly clashing here, and our opinions of what makes a nice summer aren't the same, so let's just agree to disagree.

No one said the UK doesn't get 30c days but they are sporadic and not that much. Geez. London is not summery enough for me. I'm sure people in london have to what swimming pools lol. End of discussion lol.

You stated you could NEVER go to the beach or swim in an outdoor pool, which is complete *******s Think what you want, you have clearly never been to the UK & probably never will, so just keep those ridiculous stereotypes churing round in your head...Geez...

Clearly it needs to be 35C & sunny every day, followed by a warm rain thunderstorm in the evening (not while at the beach of course) & swimming pools must not be heated, only warmed by the rays of the copious sun (apart from when it's warm rain/thunderstorm) for it to be classed as summer for you lol...

I don't know how those of us from the UK cope, I really don't...

You just don't get it do you! It is NOT constantly in the low 70's!!! Show a bit of sense will you, try reading my and flaming gala's last posts and then think about it.

Oh my god. Who cares? Some people like British weather, some people don't. What sense does it make to get all in your feelings about it? Seriously. It's not that serious. Seems rather juvenile to take something like that so personally.

Who cares if someone thinks England has crappy summers? Is it really worth arguing over that for ten pages? I swear that's all people discuss on this forum. London, British Stereotypes, London, blah blah blah who gives a ****?

You prefer hotter summers than England? How dare you insult British people like that!

If you don't like this thread, don't comment on it. Simple. There will probably be endless discussions on the UK's climate because people in other countries seem perpetually obsessed with it.

Half the threads on this forum are derailed by trying to prove that London/UK actually does have hot summers.
