Half the threads on this forum are derailed by trying to prove that London/UK actually does have hot summers.
Nobody tries to prove that the UK has hot summers, the threads get derailed by people spouting rubbish about a climate they have never been to, and then are corrected by the locals who actually know what the climate is like.
People have a go at me when I say the NE us has crap winters, and no amount of sun is going to make it feel milder than a winter here when it's windy and cold to start with.
Actually I have been to london twice. Lol. Your ignorant. Technically it was london Heathrow though. Lol. I still got outside in the morning time there though, it was late may , pretty chilly air. Sunny skies though.

Yes , you made a statement saying I have never been to the UK based on a presumptive notion. I'm sure you are more knowledgeable on the climate in London, but averages don't lie
No one's opinion should offend anyone. And "dreadful" is a matter of opinion. I'd find the U.K.'s summer weather absolutely dreadful, considering it isn't remotely close to what I prefer. No one should care.
Is London any different than other similar climates, by the way? Is a climate like Abbotsford, BC that much better? Why does London's climate have this amount of both "insulting"/"praising"? Why is it that special? It sounds like it's the only climate like that in the world.
Someone's making it sound like it's unusual. Are London's summers really worse than the ones in A Coruña, for example?

It's a very prominent city and there are several forum members from there.
The UK has relatively bad climate, but it's still better than places like Chicago, Minneapolis, Montreal and Winnipeg.
Would you care to clarify the reasons you don't like both kinds of climates?
