Most people don't even wear shorts here when it's 72°F
Most of the worlds population lives in the subtropics and tropics.....
Lmao don't even get me started on the "most of the world" argument. Most of the world's economy is generated between 30N and 55N. Most of the first-world countries are not located in the tropics. Most resources used by humans are not found in the tropics, etc...
That isn't normal, unless you live in an area that never gets that warm typically, like northern Europe, or the Canadian/Alaskan tundra
He would never make it in FL during the summer. Think what 90f+ and dews over 75+ would do to him with a west flow day and nite. I can't see him mowing the yard.

So? So your saying that only Americans, Europeans and Japanese matter when discussing climate preferences?
And besides, air conditioning has changed all that historical paradigm
^I'm saying that the "most of the world" argument is nonsensical when talking about climate preferences, because I can twist the logic in favor of the mid-to-high latitudes (by measuring in terms of economy, resources, quality of life) just as easily as you can twist it in favor of the tropics (by measuring in terms of population).
@LKJ If by "he" you mean me, you are absolutely right. You couldn't pay me to go anywhere within a 500 mile radius of the state of Florida (especially the southern part) during the summer months. Regardless of your fictitious west windflow or not, the place is absolutely and unequivocally appalling; definitely the worst on this continent excluding portions of Mexico and CA.
It is worse on the gulf coast were i lived when we have a west flow 24/7. We have steam bath 90 to 91f degree water temps.
No it’s not. Coastal Miami has warmer lows than anywhere on the gulf
