It's really the exact same as last year in the NYC area. Warm winter, hardly any snow, crappy April.


My prediction is that this terrible spring will last into mid-May at the earliest (see: last year).

So far the highest temperature recorded this April is a measly 71F in Bensalem, Bucks County PA - nearly the same max as January's was here (70F)!! The next week or so looks to peak at about 64F so this record may very well stand. Conversely, our lowest temp this month is 33F so actually not as terrible as it has been elsewhere

NYC has not hit 69° yet this April. Last time they went without a 70° day in April was 1940. before that was 1800s. Typically they hit 69° at least 3 times. Doesn't look like it will happen next 7 days..
