Yes it is trash and you can bet it will be around for weeks if not months just in time to ruin summer for the Eastern 2/3rds

Rain possibly mixing with snow today, what else is new. Highs in the low to mid 40s.

The upper level flow pattern off the West Coast is what should have occurred during winter but hardly ever happened. So, we have winter upper air flow patterns in spring now. I had two low temperatures of 25F in southern Indiana this month after blowtorch January-March and hardly and very few below freezing lows in all of March.

Drier springs could definitely have an impact on Midwest summer temps

https://twitter.com/Met_khinz/status...79351243128834

Back home its only reached or surpassed 70 degrees times this spring. One day of 80 degrees

Another sunny day in the low 70s. Really no bad weather to speak of.

You guys in the North East US are not alone. Exactly the same situation here in Northe East Europe. We had a blowtorch winter and now have a nasty cold pattern that won't budge,... and of course at the same time Western Europe is nice and toasty as usual. I hope this crap clears up by mid-May and doesn't ruin summer.
