Here it hasn't been above 87F yet this year (occurred in March). Seems like typically we have our first 90F in May though sometimes it happens in April.
Yesterday's high was 83F, then a front came thru last night. Highs this weekend in the upper 70's with lows in the 50's.
I have only had about a 1" and got 1.40" last week in 20 mins. Been a very lite rain all day. But i will take anything at this point. We bailed out Apr. Once May gets here the real stuff starts with 90's and very dry. But the last two Mays we did ok on rain. 7 out of 10 Mays are on the dry side.
I know i was going nuts. When i checked the rain gauge at 7am it was over a inch and when i came home it was only near .90". Seems it has a crack as it is dripping water. So not sure what i got Friday. At the rate of the leak i have lost .20" in 4 hours. So i must have had around 1.40" for Friday.
Weather here needs a mood stablizer since it has gone bipolar.
Last weekend it was 32F/0 C and snowed several inches.
Monday-Wednesday it was 36/2 C and did rain/snow mixes off and on.
Thursday it shot up to 62 F/ 17 C and poured rain.
Friday it went back down to 44 F/ 7 C and was sunny.
Today it was 56 F/13 C and really sunny so felt very warm. I ended up taking off the coat and going in my t-shirt.
Not much better in central Indiana as we had freezing temperatures several nights in a row in the last week or so, followed by near to above average temperatures the past couple of days.
