I certainly couldn’t. I wouldn’t even be able to sleep. Plus the areas you listed are tropical areas. They are use to it all year round, I am not. My body can not go from dry cold winter to hot humid and handle it well. I also bet those people could never go out in the freezing cold without the thickest coat. I could however. It just depends on how adapted you are to the climate you live in. Some people handle heat well others not so much. I’ve lived in upstate NY my whole life but still can’t tolerate the summers. The winters I’ve adapted well and enjoy a nice cold 0 degrees with -30 dew points.

Next few days will be cooler than average but then a warm up

Where is the core of the warmest air going to be?

CFSv2 backing off on the cooler July temps for the Midwest keeping it basically only cool around Texas where it will probably be wetter than normal. Alaska and Northern Canada look colder than average too

IMHO Chicagoland will some hot weather this July as normally expected but I doubt things will get too hot if that ridge parks itself in the Plains. We will get constant "ridge riders" lots of convection to tame the temps and probably elevate the humidity levels. If the ridge retrogrades further west than we can see cooler temps

Heavy rain and storms just to my south keeping temps down for the time being with thunderstorm outflows. Temp at IKK 75F. A few clusters further north. ORD at 81F and MDW 82F. Dew Point is at 70 degrees.
