Carolinas might get a couple inches again.

Theres gonna be a sharp cut off west of Philly. Maybe even west of central NJ. Philly may only get 4-6" nothing crazy

NYC northwards a different story. We'll see.

Work and prep is taking up my time next 24hrs

It just dipped down to 0F here in Indianapolis. The wind chill is -13F. By far the coldest air of the season here and this is without the help of any snow pack which makes it even more impressive. Lots of sunshine today but still only in the teens. It'll be more than 10 degrees warmer tonight as we should stay at least in the double digits before climbing close to freezing tomorrow. We could also see some light snow tomorrow afternoon but nothing more than a dusting is expected. Another cold night in the single digits Friday night before a huge rebound back into the 40s by Monday and near 50 by Tuesday next week.

Impressive cold in Wisconsin with many locations with low temperatures down to -30F, even to -35F in some places.

Low of 7.5F here, once again a few degrees milder than at Toronto Pearson Airport.

D.C. a little too close to that purple line for my liking. GFS has us getting 2-3 inches for the whole event which is OK, but I'd like to actually do something this weekend so that purple area needs to stay the heck away from us.

6Z GFS shows more snow opportunities for the Ohio Valley medium and longer-range, 12Z is back to just about nothing. You wonder why I despise "winters" here when all I want is a few decent snow systems...
