How about at least an honorable mention for "app?" If it's too difficult to say (or write) the word "application," I suggest you have a much larger problem than simply filling one out!

well, if "app" is the previous offering, I submit "convo" - but abbreviations would be off topic...

in which case we could offer, if off topic were acceptable, what word do you say that boggles the listener: vicarious.

on topic: anything that's a latin abbreviation. et al. sic. Only because my Catholic education didn't really educate me on it.

"He was like" for he said,
"I was like" for I said,
"Basically," frequently used in speech
"Whatever"
Loud cell phone speech mixed with profanity in public places

Just a couple of minutes ago, I was reading through a posting in another forum, and I shuddered involuntarily when I ran across yet another misuse of "their" for "there."

I'm sure this one has been mentioned once, or twice, of fifteen times, but it's worth a fiftieth mention:

The "word" irregardless.

This one never has and never will make any sense at all. Antiundisnoninirregardless of what anyone says, there is no point to the prefix 'ir.' The 'less' does a fine job all by its lonesome for crying out LOUD!!!

So there.
