Teen agers are old children, particularly past the age of 16. I probably wouldn't refer to any child as a young child, unless I thought they were under 12.

Of course, then, you have your 20-somethings that act like children, so they could be considered old children, since they hadn't matured into adults yet.

"Leverage" as used in sales presentations. I never ever NOT EVER again want to hear how using X-product will "leverage" my whatever-business.

Aside from that it sounds dumb and means nothing, invariably I get an image of Archimedes "leveraging" the salesman off the planet:
"Give me a place to stand and with a lever I will move the whole world."

I hate the word "but." When someone uses it-it's usually a back-handed compliment. I like you "but." You are right "but."

That's because you're spelling it wrong. You'd like it better as "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

Yes, as in "No offense, but <insert offending phrase>."

I'm really getting sick and tired of the word "smackdown".

Prolly, probly, and any variation that is not correct.

And the eight hundred ways definitely is spelled, except for the way I spelled it.
