Should there be a comma in there?

Thank you for your pedantic comment. I like the sentence the way I wrote it. YMMV

It requires two. However, it's still a horrible sentence which the writer should have edited before posting.

You should start whining about my starting the sentence with, "And..."

Are we going to turn this discussion into a pedantic argument? I don't recall requesting any copy editing. You know we have a topic in our Writing section for pedantic whining about stuff posted on the forum. Just post it there and get even! Oh, wait, I quit reading that topic because it was full of pedantic whining.

What happened to smileys? If you don't give a clue you are teasing people are going to take it as a serious comment.

Besides, I'm sick today. I can be mean online!

Bring it!!!

I'm sick with the worst cough/cold in years. All I have to do is breathe on you and you'll be sicker than a dog!

You might even be in danger just by reading my posts...

Folks, I don't take forums seriously. I have a good time, I like to post good topics when possible, but I also like to tweak topics just because I'm mischievous.

Why won't you learn to use a comma? It's not difficult. There's a great little book on punctuation that became a best seller in the UK. It's British punctuation, but people here will help you if you're humble and respectful.

Take a look at the free sample on Kindle. Then buy the book.
