- Food contact surfaces not washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any time of operations when contamination may have occurred
- Lighting and ventilation inadequate, fixtures not shielded, dirty ventilation hoods, ductwork, filters, exhaust fans
- Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean

|
09/22/2015 | Inspection | Education was given on the proper procedure for storing kitchen utensils with handles facing up. All food temperatures, taken with DOH Thermepen, were in the acceptable range. Thermometer in reach in refrigerator registered 30 degrees however internal temperatures of food stored in this unit were between 39-45 degrees. Inspector questioned the accuracy of reach in thermometer. |
- Non food contact surfaces of equipment not clean
- Food not protected during storage, preparation, display, transportation and service, from potential sources of contamination (e.g., food uncovered, mislabeled, stored on floor, missing or inadequate sneeze guards, food containers double stacked)
- Improper use and storage of clean, sanitized equipment and utensils
|
09/19/2014 | Inspection | Temperatures measured: ham salad = 41 degrees F, yogurt = 38 degrees F. Discussed thermometer calibration. All thermometers appeared accurate. Updated email address is: lgonia@jceo.org |
- Non-food contact surfaces and equipment are improperly designed, constructed, installed, maintained (equipment not readily accessible for cleaning, surface not smooth finish)
- Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces
- Toilet facilities inadequate, inconvenient, dirty, in disrepair, toilet paper missing, not self-closing doors, missing hand wash signs
- Food contact surfaces not washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use and following any time of operations when contamination may have occurred
