- HANDWASHING SINKS, INSTALLATION - WATER TEMPERATURE (corrected on site)
Observation: At the beginning of the inspection, the automatic, non-hand operated handwashing sink outside of the office was producing water within proper temperatures. By the end of the inspection, the water temperature in only this sink had dropped and only cold water was available.
Correction: Water temperature at a handwashing sink shall be at least 85°F and no more than 110°F at all times. Manager instructed maintenance to adjust the hot water heater (they had previously adjusted the hot water heater on this sink because water temperaures were becoming too hot for proper handwashing to occur). The hot water heater was adjusted and the water temperature from this automatic faucet is now 88°F. Continue to monitor the temperature of the water in this sink and adjust as necessary. Observation: The bottom of the center McCafe cooler (holding the bags of milk) has accumulations of dried milk residue. Per operator, there was a leak over the weekend resulting the accumulations of milk residue.
