I am extricating myself from the majority of this forum. I will no longer be participating in "controversial" threads, nor will I be responding to people on C-D who are doing everything possible to make this an unwelcoming place.

The moderators of this forum, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that using a letter to represent a curse word is an infraction worthy crime, while continually allowing gender bashing and misogynistic posts and threads. I have reported posts...

Well, things are happening to this writer now. I found out this morning that I'll only be working on one holiday this year. That will be New Year's Eve. That also means that I won't be working Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, and New Year's Day (first time I'm off for that since 2007).

New shirts abound in my closet, as the old ones were getting too small. New pants hang on hangars. So does a new lightweight jacket for the few days it does get cold in Dallas....

Many men and women of bravery have served in our U.S. Armed Forces down through the years. They've gone out into harm's way to protect our sovereignty and freedom and have sought to defeat those who dare try to destroy us. And today, many still serve and still fight the good fight.
