A story on the news tonight about thieves breaking into automotive shops and stealing old bald tires. They made off with thousands of dollars of them. Recycling locations pay about $8.00 for each tire. Last year when I bought a couple of new tires they charged me $4.00 for each of my old ones to " dispose of. " That means they got paid twice to recycle my old tires. Rubber Robbers.

We are moving back to Arizona near Phoenix. Texas has an excellent economy with good incomes but overall an individual will pay more taxes in Texas: yes no payroll taxes which are $40 per week as an individual at about $90,000 salary. A house at about 3000 sf in TX is a beautiful house with 3 car garage but you will have a house built out of brick, mortar and pretty white stone. A very solid home but you will pay about $7500 in property tax. In Arizona, you will pay $2000 in property taxes maximum....
