I dont think the schools are worse at all. Last time I was in PISD, Plano East was the only school offering IB. West plano is overkill if you ask me as far as safety and quality. West plano is if you truly have money. If you got it, sure. But as a kid I think I would find the characterless new development and sterile streets and boutique shops to be ultra boring. Central and east plano have more bustle, that is until you go far east plano bordering murphy where it gets quiet and cookie cutter again.
