Maybe you have someone like what I'm about to describe in your apartment complex. Provided, of course, you live in one instead of a house.

The powers that be at your writer's complex are trying to finish up a striping project in the parking lot. Now, that can't be too much to ask, is it? Well, as it turns out, one resident still can't move his car out of the same space he'd been parking in since..............well, I can't remember the last time he or she had...

I can move anywhere in NC
Only criteria is
- safety
- not a run down looking area
- within 30 minutes from stores
-no abundant open racism (or at least not a sundown town)

...are not the same thing, but they're pretty close.


So we hit 2022 with snow and more snow and more snow. I decided to drive to the store one day and surprisingly, with just a few mishaps, got out of my driveway. When I got stuck, I merely pulled out the shovel, shoveled down to the gravel a few feet ahead of the tires (all I could manage without collapsing), and drove forward as far as I could.

I was even able to break through that great big drift the plow...

It's been a while. I'm back and will begin posting again.
