2016, was mostly awful on a personal level. Had it not being for meeting up with Jessica in the last couple of months of the year, I would have written it off as just a bad dream!

What is a Redoubt?
Redoubt
is a word of French origin and the dictionary definition is a "defensible fallback location." This, applied to Christianity in 21st Century America, has become a movement among Christians (and some other conservatives), to relocate to any of several areas of the US, which are becoming known as "Redoubts."

This blog is meant to be a useful resource for anyone interested in the Ozark Redoubt. Specifically the SouthEast Corner of that Redoubt.

Well, wouldn't you know that Mother Nature had a hand in allowing businesses to put things off? It was just too cold outside to begin with, but the threat of ice on the ground never became reality. Good for the weather people being wrong for just once.

I, on the other hand, had looked forward to today. One of the perks of working in air small package / customs brokerage is that our groups take annual pictures of the working departments and the little committees...
