Yes, since last week. At different times a day. They last usually very short - a minute or two maybe.
The scheduled tasks are set for 3:33AM (my time zone) and last few minutes, but that's not what I am talking about. The others are clearly "database errors".

I've experienced that error intermittently since I've been posting on this forum. Usually last for no more than a few page refreshes/back page.

I always assumed it was a "busy" time or a reset going on.

Yup, if it happens outside our maintenance time, it probably is a matter of traffic. Not even necessarily ours, but somewhere along your virtual route.

I got the database error thing for a few minutes, a few evenings ago. It had never happened before. Now the last few days, I keep getting "The web address you entered could not be found" when I'm clicking on different pages although using the back button and clicking again usually takes me to the page. Also navigating from one page to the other has been much slower the last few days. Definitely it seems like something different is going on lately.

I just received the database error a few minutes ago, and am experiencing intermittent connectivity with City-Data at the moment. It could be a connectivity issue with the MySQL database.
