That feature caused recent server slowdowns, so we'd need to redesign it before it comes back and it's not a priority right now.

The site is still extremely slow. I think the "database" error may be just another wording for timing out.

One thing I noticed that seems to coincide with the error message - when you log it, it used to say, "thanks for logging in, (name of poster). The name is now missing.

FYI, I was just trying to post in the food forum, the database error thingie reared its ugly head again.
