We figured out what was causing problems and consequently the performance should be getting back to normal. One forum feature has been disabled. Anyone noticed what it was?

A filter that got rid of all "Where can I find the best BBQ?" posts? Wishful thinking on my part.

I've noticed one change.

Before:

At the bottom of a thread there have always been these arrangements:
- When more threads with new posts to be seen: << Name of prior thread | Name of next thread >>
- When no more threads with newly posted items, that part was blank: << Name of prior thread | >>

Now:
- When there are more threads with new posts to be seen: << Name of prior thread | Next thread >>
- When there are no more threads with newly posted items: << Name of prior thread | Next thread >>

The bolded item is new, and is the new standard, no matter the situation. But when there are NO more threads with new postings it still says Next Thread and I click on it, I get this error message: "There are no threads newer than the previous one. Click the back button in your browser to return to it."

I guessed the Facebook widgit, then logged out, and saw that it was still there. It wasn't the widgit.

Well, I checked back to see if my infractions were disabled. They weren't. (Bummer).

Then I checked to see if the P&OC forum was disabled. It wasn't. (Even bigger bummer).

So I give up.

LOL! Nobody told me and I can't see anything, even though I'm living on the forums.
