I will try and get a picture of the gravel kit one of these days.
Thanks for the information. I worked on aircraft for a long time, so your photos reminded me of my old job in the military

The "Army" Beaver was in Anchorage a few days ago, went over and looked at it when I was out at Spenard Lake, seems to be kept up pretty well.

Yep. I hadnt heard about the damage though.

The flight schedules today were all messed up. Infact the last flight from the slope came in at 9:40pm. That is twenty minutes before our flight from Denver gets here, and we use the same gate.

My wife's dog yesterday:

Her name is Abbie, who looks quite "stuck-up" in this photo

And she's got reason to be!

How come your wife's dog is not also your dog?

Oh, she is mine, too A couple of years ago we had to put our dog down, and my wife was devastated. I arranged with a person I know at a local animal shelter to bring "Abbie" (the dog in the photo), to our home for my wife to meet, and she liked her right away. She still cries over the old dog, but this has has brought a big smile to her face. My wife tells me, "Abbie is your baby, and you know it," and I tell her the same.
