not my Deadman the pictures are not, the map location is correct. That is Norm's airplane. My cabin is the one at the other end from the plane. There are board walks out there just short ones to help walk around the cabins. The ground does not take to a lot of foot traffic.

Thank you for that info! Last question, we have spoken with a few charter planes, it’s been tough to find one. We are waiting on a call back from Miles who I’ve been told has property there. Anyway recommendation/direction for a charter? Given your advice on mid to late Sep, we’d go ahead and book then. We can hang back for a month spend time in Alaska as we wait. Thanks again! It’s two of us!

There are only two charter operators Currently in Fairbanks. Myes and Shadow aviation yes Myles has a place there. You could rent his cabin also. I heard there was someone from down south that was operating out of Fairbanks I don't know for sure. The only other option is to hire a bandit.

Oh Great! I sent a direct message before I saw this. Man I’d love to get a hold of Myles, rent his cabin and hire him as a charter. I’ll sent the contact info I have in a DM.

I think part of your problem on finding a charter plane in September is that it is moose hunting season in many areas. I imagine the planes are pretty booked with hunters.

Most areas are done by the 20th.

Myles has given up his part 135 and sold the certificate. So as of now there is one float pane business in Fairbanks. But..... Brooks Range Aviation has a new owner, and they may fly out of Fairbanks next year. We will see. Also, an outfit from south central showed up last summer operating off the
Fairbanks float pond.
