Sure, I'll be happy to come and visit--do you like blackberries? I have this blackberry pie recipe that is devastating. Basically you just make a regular pie crust, fill with blackberries, and mix some sour cream with sugar and pour over it, and then make a crumb topping and sprinkle over it. It tastes like a hybrid between a cheesecake and a pie. Also my Tom and Jerry's are to die for.

Okay...I"m not trying to be dense here, but are you pouring the sour cream mixture on the berries or on the pie crust before you add the topping?

Barkely...Tom and Jerry's are a classic cocktail; it's really just hot buttered bourbon.

You put the berries in first, then the sour cream mixture, and then the topping.

Met that sounds like a wonderful pie, how about raspberries I have an abundance of those. Also do you bake it, chill it or just exactly as you stated. Very interesting very eager to give it a try

Hmm, I start a thread on house hunting and now we're discussing pies. Don't worry, I don't care. I just think it's quite humorous.

I'm going to try something like this later on this year with a combination of blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Should work out fine. I can't remember the exact proportions but I think it's one cup of sour cream sweetened to taste, and it's baked at 325 until it's done, whenever the hell that is. About 45 minutes I think. The details are of course on my other laptop which needs to be repaired someone spilled wine on it. Again. Wait, that was tea. Yeah.

It sounds like the recipe would lend itself to tarts as well.
