I find it difficult to finish my beer before it gets warm. Gladly accept the challenge though.

Ya know...I love wearing shorts at night around here. Not rare to have the heat on in June in da U.P. of Michigan. If'n ya got old folks or babies in the house.

I don't miss ice fishing.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that during fire season the whole state virtually burns to the ground.

[rant]At least you would think so from many of those up here on the mountain. I mean, I get it, but one little fire or a bit of dry and everyone up here screams "CLOSE THE WHOLE FOREST!!" at the top of their lungs.

Like I said, I get it, but closing the whole forest means NOBODY is supposed to be there except what few law enforcement/rangers there are. The same people who are going to chance having an illegal campfire are certainly the same ones who will ignore the closure AND have illegal fires. And there would be WAY less folks to catch them and/or even see it if it gets out of control.[/rant]

Looks like you're describing California, Nevada, Colorado and Texas too.

Well, why would you, when desert fishing season opens soon?

I'm looking forward to netting a nice juicy sand trout.

Last I checked, weather service says most of the moisture is coming to the mountain (White Mountains).
