I didn't know there was snow, it took most of the day yesterday for me to put in one spring and one shock so I wasn't paying attention. That includes going to harbor freight to buy a tool though.
Oh well its fun, I've been watching fast and loud on the discovery channel, maybe I can flip this car for a profit like the show. I'm still waiting on Arkansas to send me a title though, I didn't know the new title getting process was this slow. I thought you just kept the original title but apparently not.

just make sure you do have a title. We wouldn't to see you get in trouble for selling a stolen car or have them think it was stolen. Right now I am looking out my window and I see 2 gals walking. good for them, they will be in better health for that, if they don't freeze their Tushes off, or maybe that is what they are trying to do...

Stolen I already took it to the revenue office and got tags on it. I did find it on craigslist but if it was stolen I imagine they would have said something.

Looks like we are finally about to enter spring. We are supposed to have a couple chilly days, maybe tomorrow and Wed but otherwise we are looking at 50s and 60s with nights in the high 30s and 40s; Boy it can't come to soon. I am hoping to get out and start digging some weeds out of the veggie garden this week or next.

Nothing exciting with dealing with the DMV. IMO

Got my renewal yesterday, I buy them for two years and it seems I only did it last month. LOL

Of course they don;t miss a trick on the charges, you have to submit a;

2011 & 2012 paid personal property tax receipts,
Current Insurance card for the vehicle,
Current Safety Inspection.

Sometimes you feel like you are working for them. JMHO

If got all the money I can spend on the car on a welder on ebay, if I lose the auction I'll buy more parts for the car. Its a chinese welder so it might blow up...

Safety inspection? When I financed a used car and paid it off I didn't have to get it inspected before I got a title. Maybe in some states but are you sure about Arkansas?

I think Bluff Dweller may be in MO? Here you can do your renewal online - quick and easy with ARStar as long as you have current insurance, have assessed, and have paid your personal property tax. I'm good for 2 out of 3 - sigh....well, you can assess online too, so I suppose all is not lost. At least you don't spend a half day at the courthouse and DFA anymore.

AR once required safety inspections but dropped it long ago because it was decided it was not worth the trouble because it was a "once over lightly" and didn't do much to check real safety issues.
