I'm not saying it is. I'm just curious where people keep getting these figures from.

Finite resource? Are we planning to run out of electricity soon?

You're a funny, funny man.

It's either 365,000 or 410,000 depending on what mood Andria Simmons is in (gotta love that high-quality AJC reporting).

I do not believe what the AJC reports. Show me gdot traffic counts.

I have thought about this more, and don't see it happening. Roswell is just as nimby as East Cobb. I see it ending at the Chattahoochee River.

Unless it goes at least to Northpoint, it won't go anywhere at all. The NIMBYs don't have much of an argument since it will run within the GA-400 right of way except for some space needed for stations around the interchanges. Actually, of all the potential transit projects, this one is probably the most likely to succeed (Clayton rail is still too far out), and least likely to get defeated!

It'll be the same old arguments they use in Cobb: They'll say it is a waste of their tax dollars, especially when the Fulton rate was just raised, then they'll talk about it increasing development which will cause more congestion and destroy the small-town feel, and then they'll start talking about it bringing crime and "undesirables". But it'll probably be mostly about tax and development. Furthermore, there's already a MARTA bus that runs up the shoulder (pretty quickly) and they'll argue that is good enough.
