Seriously! Why is everyone in such a damn hurry? Leave earlier! You stopping to get your latte and now running late are not my problem. There's an old expression: Slow down. Go faster. Meaning slow your butt down and you'll arrive faster. You know the story of the tortoise and the hare, right?

Whoever said the right lane is empty? Around here the interstates are all 2 lanes and the right lane is never empty.
Yes, there are times that you are passing slower cars on the right, but you should get over when done. There also comes a point where the person in the left starts holding up a massive amount of cars because they are "technically" passing by going a 1/2 mph faster then the car on the right.

Its nothing but just common courtesy to let the faster group go faster. I'm not talking about the one single guy who is looking to do 80, 90+. Just talking about the flow.

I have many times jumped in the right and had to slow a bit to let a group of cars buy. No biggie. Everybody was happy.

Hold up traffic, then you get tailgaters. Then people start getting upset. All because some people feel if there is no law, they can do whatever.

Maybe, these keep right except to pass laws become existent because of the ignorant or stupid people who dont care and chill in the left!

And as far as the states that dont have keep right laws, most, if not all, still teach it.

From South Dakota's drivers handbook: Page 29.
"On a road with two or more lanes traveling in the same direction, stay in the right lane except to
pass. On a road with three or more lanes traveling in the same direction, if there is a lot of entering or
exiting traffic, use the center travel lane."
SD drivers Handbook

Does it matter? It's really none of your business. Let the real police deal with it if they feel it's necessary.

I can put money that your lil ol saying means squat to some. I commute 55 miles each way. I know the areas where I have to speed a bit to make certain lights. Those lights add up. If you dont make them, some can be 5+ minutes long. Over the entire distance, it can be over 30+ minutes added to a commute. Not saying its right, but it is what it is.

If it's not then why try to justify this BS. If you have to drive 55miles each way is that my problem?

Rude much?

Your commute is not my problem. Move closer to work or find a job closer to home. Speeding so you don't catch a light is ridiculous. And there's no law that says I have to get out of your way. It may be common courtesy, but why should your needs overtake mine? Who did and made you King of the Road? Seeing your behavior on here I just see how you drive. God help those around you!

I've also commuted an hour and over an hour in the past. You know what the secret to arriving on time was? Leave early! Better to arrive 20 minutes early than 20 minutes late. No speeding necessary. You're just making excuses for your terrible driving habit.

Call it ridiculous, but there is a line of lights, on timers, not duty cycles, that will easily add 15 minutes. Just about everybody in the area knows this.

Someday, you will block the wrong person and it aint going to be pretty. Lets pray that is not somebody trying to get to the emergency room or something of that nature.

But, there is no law, right. SO eff it. Be a jerk. Thats the motto, right. I dont care about anybody but myself. Thats the new thing.

I never said I was king of the road. YOU dont always know what others peoples situations are. Even if you did, you wouldnt care. The law says I dont have to.

Seriously what is your problem? Just because someone doesn't move out of your way because you demand it doesn't make you more of a person. Your posts on here do implicate that you feel you are king of the road. Your time is more important than everyone else around you. You don't know what others situations are either. No one does. It really doesn't matter.

There's a speed limit and it is supposed to be followed by everyone. No, the majority of people don't follow it all the time, but that is no excuse.

Yesterday in a 35 someone was so close to my bumper I'm not sure you could have fit a sheet of paper between the two vehicles. The speed limit was 35 in a little po dunk town so yes I did 35 the whole way through the village. And guess who was out on a quite, country road waiting. Yes, the men who drive in vehicles with the shiny, blinky lights. I saw many of them yesterday. I didn't feel like meeting any of them so yes I drove the speed limit. No reason for someone to kiss my bumper. And if I let off the gas even the slightest the putz behind me would have rear ended me and probably ended up with a black eye for being a douche.

If you need to go to the emergency room, you're still not allowed to break the law. You can get ticketed for this. I've seen people on the news ticketed for speeding going to a hospital. If you are in that much of a need of medical assistance, you need to call 911 and have an ambulance or police escort. It's that simple. Driving like a loon isn't how you get to a hospital fast unless you're looking to get on a Mercy Flight be the reason the hospital is needed.

I see people everyday in the morning around rush hour who are trying to get to their emergency rooms i.e. their offices.

Im saying the general flow. Not just me. Some peoples time does matter. Tell that to the father that couldnt get to his son on time at the hospital because you wanted to play police officer. You never know.

Now, if the lil po dunk town you traveled through was a lil ol 2 lane, 1 each direction, then fine. Do the speed limit. Nobody is going to dispute that. But if it was 3 or more lane, 2 going in your direction and you are holding up someone, that says a LOT about you.

If you truly think the guy behind you was so close that if you even let off that he would have hit you, then I highly highly doubt your sense of distance is accurate. I wasn't there, but more often then not, and I mean way more often, when somebody thinks someone is that close, in reality, they still have a minimum of 5+ feet. Still unsafe, but not as close as you think.

I will go ahead and call you out on having road rage. You got angry and wanted to "hit" someone for they way they drive. The fact that you have road rage and block people in the left lane says a lot.

I am not one of those up tailgating and all. I see those type all the time. I see people like you all the time and someday, its going to backfire. Someday, someone so hot headed is going to confront you. It may hurt.

More often than not, its just because people want to speed. But, I also know first hand of a medical emergency where somebody died and was held up by somebody "policing" the road.

Who cares what the reason is, why block. No good will come of it, but only potential bad.
