That would explain why you are not an analyst.

I agree, which is why you never sample just 100 cars. You need a larger sample size as your population, confidence level, and confidence interval increase, but not exponentially larger.

That's why the auto manufacturer also performs statistical testing. Have you even heard of six sigma?

.
I have too much to drink to run the exact numbers, but the reliability can be estimated with a sample size in the thousands.

The plural of anecdote is not data.

Well it's been fun time for me to bow out. You foreign car lovers keep the faith and one day you might be able to lead in sales globally for 60+ years consecutively Until then like I said start with baby steps and shoot for a 10 year run consecutively and then...just then...maybe I will consider buying a foreign car. Until then that doesn't look close to happening in my lifetime and I'm only 36, but maybe in future generations.

Somebody has got to make foreigners rich, and if your perceptions are it's better I'm glad you don't shame the domestic brands. After constructing a few dealerships I know that it is the most profitable for them. And if you really think that coffee is free maybe you can share whatever you're smokin.

Neither are built in U.S.. The Canucks Im sure are thankful for the work/business though. Might as well be foreign being built outside the U.S. with less than half the parts sourced from the U.S. as well.

A Camaro assembled in Canada is far more American than a Nissan built by minimum wage employees in Alabama. The Camaro V8 engines are made in Tonawanda, NY.

Hmmm...

My family has had 3 Toyotas that have made it to near or over 200,000 miles. Not to mention the 2008 Honda Accord that SAVED MY MOM'S LIFE.

Every GM and Ford product I have ever owned was a POS. Poor quality fit and finish. Plastic everywhere......Always seemed at 100k or so....the larger problems would start.

Best cars owned.

2000 Toyota 4runner
2007 E Class
2007 Volvo S60R.

The one i miss the most is the 4runner.....searching for another.

I got bad pizza today from Dominos maybe I should make a forum username called victimofdominos

Maybe your mind is victim of his username - go back and check if he really does create e.g. 7 new threads about GM within 72h. Not even close. He engages himself in other stuff too unlike our MrWillys.
