My guess is that we likely eat healthier than you do. Been around longer and learned more. Why, we even grow our own vegetables, don't eat any sugar at all and consume extremely moderate amounts of only healthy fats.

You are now free to wollow in YOUR ignorance while imagining yourself quite clever. I usually call that an irony deficiency!

On the subject at hand, Cracker Barrel decidedly appeals to a specific segment of the population and there are many other restaurants much like it in this part of the country. Once in a blue moon (have eaten at one once while on the road) won't kill ya but I certainly wouldn't eat a steady diet of it.
I just have to question your honesty given how much you kept praising the processed garbage shoveled by the Cracker Barrel. There is a reason the company has been closing locations for decades now and it is they sell garbage which few people want.

Yes, it certainly appeals to a specific segment....a segment that unfortunately doesn't know quality food and is as result often overweight.

Californians eat a lot of tofu? Could have fooled me, the tofu section at your typical American grocery store is around 1'x2'. The coagulated nipple juice section is 20+ times larger....

Can anyone please explain to me why/how politics enters literally every thread on this board? Honestly. I will celebrate the day that political posts remain in the political forum (hence, the name), and religious posts remain in the religion forum, and other controversies, well, you get the point.

P.S. Didn't your mamma ever teach you to never talk politics, religion, or controversial topics in open forums (this, to me, being an open forum)?

On that note, I'm off to eat my politically correct and nutritious breakfast. Hopefully doing so will make me more tolerant of those with poor manners (or, at the very least, those with the inability to follow forum rules).

You read my mind. I'm still waiting for Curmudgeon to essplain how he attributed "left coast" sensibilities to someone who expressed disdain for yellow gravy from a packet and a restaurant that buys most of their supplies from Sysco (not Cisco, they make routers).
