The interior rightly complains about taxation without representation, excessive taxation, no say in elections, ad nausem. They are the ones that want 'out' from CA.

The Coast meanwhile loves to mock, ridicule, and just show overall disdain and derision for the Interior-apparently just for the sheer sadistic pleasure of it. Not a day goes by where they don't remind the Central Valley about "how culturally, intellectually, economically, and socially inferior they are" and how "they are a drag, stain, and abscess on the beautiful great state of California".

The Valley says "Well we hate you and your high horse attitude too. Can we please divorce and become our own state?"

"Absolutely not" says the Coast. "We must keep the state intact."

I mean seriously. WTF?
The central Valley is a welfare valley. With out state/federal welfare they would not survive. It's filled with uneducated people, obeese people, horrible economy, and inferior work force, meth heads and other dope fiends.

You just proved his point. The Central Valley is where California agriculture is at its best.

Not surprising about the death penalty. There is really no death penalty in California with all the pro-criminal laws, judges and politicians.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Cox won, I greatly fear Newson. I mean I really fear him.
lol are you serious? The latest poll has Newsom with a 23.4 point lead, 52.7 to 29.3

The death penalty is a waste of money. I'll be glad to see it go away. The one we have now, is basically just a life in prison sentence anyway, yet it costs a heck of a lot more than just a life sentence.

Cox is a midwest carpet bagger. His own people in Chicagoland wanted nothing to do with him. So he took his greaseball act to San Diego (midwest by the sea), and is trying to use politics to make a name for his brand.

If you had any idea of what you were talking about you would realize that California has very tough sentencing laws for serious or violent crimes, and both are prosecuted aggressively. Many of the people on death row have pending appeals, sorry but you can't kill them until those are finalized. For those inmates who have exhausted appeals, execution dates will be set soon since the Court has finished reviewing prop 66. However, there does remain an option for the Governor to commute those sentences to life without parole - which is what I hope he does because I think the death penalty is an aberration in a Democracy.

LOL. Oh yeah, tough sentencing laws with the judges and politicians letting criminals out left and right due to “overcrowding”, three strikes changed to allow more criminals out, and my personal favorite, sanctuary state where we protect illegal alien criminals, because we have “very tough sentencing laws”. They really protect us here.

Looks like you’re the one that has no idea what he’s talking about.

There's people on death row for 40 years here . That's a lot of appeals. No liberal will ever allow a person to be put to death here. It's just not gonna happen. Those props are worthless too. Nothing is going to change... might as well put them in gen population and let prison justice take it's course
