I was born in Pasadena, CA. I've lived here in So-Cal all of my life, in fact.

Was born in Salinas, lived there 30 years or so. Moved to the bay area where I spent the last 20 years, now retired. We moved our legal residence to NV, but still have a house in SoCal that we spent ~ half the year.

I'm a little embarrassed that I had to check California born because I don't often consider myself to be "from SoCal". Was born in LA and then moved to Europe then back to the US and lived in several different states and have been back in SoCal because my husband's family is scattered all around. Let the record show that I graduated from high school in Texas, went to college in Texas, got married in Texas, and had my first child in Texas .

Does it count if I wasn't born in California but I have California running through my veins?
I feel more Californian then the state I was born in and the state that I'm living in now.
